Ciara has been interested in research most of her adult life, from working as a Pharmaceutical Assistant whilst still at school to studying for a Psychology degree at Royal Holloway, University of London, to then work as Research Assistant at that same university post-graduation. Ciara has always been fascinated by learning about people’s views and opinions, and enjoys learning different statistical methods to quantify those views. She has worked on a number of different projects with clients such as Homebase, Motability, the FCA and the FA. A project she enjoyed working on researched Licensed Football Coaches in the UK, as she was able to see the practical benefits that research could bring to the world of football coaching. In her spare time Ciara can regularly be found out running a weekly 5k ParkRun, or training for a half-marathon. At home she lives next door to a peacock farm and is frequently woken up by peacocks on the roof of her house. And the Cha-Cha? She learned to dance the Cha-Cha for a charity event – ‘Strictly Come Holloway’ – where she was paired with a member of the Royal Holloway Dance Society and helped raise £1700 for Parity for Disability.
